    Noodle: Royal Crown Noodle & Apple Pudding

    List of Ingredients

    3 tablespoons melted butter
    3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
    1 cup pecan halves
    1 apple, peeled, cored and grated
    1/4 cup melted butter (1/2 stick)
    4 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
    8 ounces medium noodles, cooked tender but firm
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe

    Generously butter a 2 quart ring mold. Drizzle bottom of mold with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon sugar and pecans. In skillet, saute apples in butter until apple is tender. Toss apple with cinnamon sugar and cooked noodles, and place evenly in the mold.

    Beat together eggs, sour cream, sugar and vanilla until blended and pour this over the noodles so that it's distributed evenly. Place mold on a cookie pan and bake in a 350ºF oven for 1 hour, or until top is golden and custard is set. Unmold onto a serving platter and decorate with spiced peaches. Serves 8. If you prepare this earlier in the day, store it (in the mold) in the refrigerator. However, it must be reheated in a pan with 1 inch water for about 25 minutes, or until heated through, or pecans can burn.
