Artichokes: Artichoke Mushroom Bake

1 10 oz c sliced mushrooms drained
1 can artichoke hearts (14 oz) drained
1 c milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 pinch pepper Recipe
Grease a 1 1/2qt casserole. Cover bottom of casserole with mushrooms. Arrange artichoke hearts on top. Beat together: milk - eggs - salt & pepper and then pour over the vegetables. Bake 40-45 min or until custard is set around edges and slightly soft in center. Let stand 10 min. before serving. YIELD: 4-6 Servings
