Boil large kettle of water. Once water is boiling, drop husked ears into water, carefully, ear by ear. Cover kettle and boil corn rapidly until tender, 4-10 minutes. Unhusked corn on the cob may be microwaved; ay up to 6 ears on rotating tray and zap 2-3 minutes for one ear, 3-4 minutes for two, etc. Frozen corn on the cob can be microwaved well; cook two large frozen ears for 7-9 minutes on high after arranging them in plastic covered baking dish and adding 2 tbl. water. Turn ears and rearrange once. Let stand for 3-5 minutes. For two small frozen ears, cook for 5-6 minutes on high.
