Corn: Fresh Fried Corn

List of Ingredients
1 dozen ears of corn
8 strips bacon
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons sugar (heaping)
Recipe
Shuck and remove silk from corn. Rinse and dry. Cut corn from cob (using sharp knife, cut the very tip of the
kernel, cut again then scrape to remove the milk). Put aside. Fry bacon strips until crisp, remove from pan. Place corn in bacon drippings, stirring constantly. Heat should be low because corn will stick and burn. Cook until tender, then add butter, sugar and salt. Simmer about 1 minute more and remove from heat and place crumbled bacon on top of corn. Place top on pan.
