Broccoli: Gingered Broccoli

1 bunch broccoli, broken into florets
2 tsp. fresh grated gingerroot -- (2 to 3)
1 tablespoon sweetner
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in a little water
Recipe
Steam the broccoli for 5 minutes, until crisp-tender. In a wok or heavy-bottomed skillet, saute the ginger for about 1 minute in about 1 tablespoon of the "broccoli water." Add the broccoli and stir together for about 1 minute, until the broccoli is coated with the ginger. Mix the sweetener, soy sauce, and water. Pour over the broccoli and continue to cook, stirring, for another 3 minutes. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens and the broccoli is glazed. Serve immediately. Serves 6
