    Mushrooms: Mushrooms a la Creme

    List of Ingredients




    1/4 cup Shallots, chopped
    2 pounds Mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 cup White wine
    1/2 cup Whipping cream
    -Parsley
    -Chives
    -Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Saute shallots and mushrooms over high heat in small amount butter. Add white wine and stir. Place lid on top and simmer 3 minutes. In separate pan, reduce cream by 1/3; add to mushroom mixture. If needed, thicken Mushrooms a la Creme with an egg yolk. Season with remaining ingredients. Serve over toast tips or garlic toast. Serves 6
