3 pounds young artichokes
2/3 pound butter
2 large onions
1 1/4 pounds lamb
2 ounces pine nuts
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups water
Recipe
Remove outer leaves from artichokes until you get to tender leaves. Remove chokes and put artichokes in cold water. melt margarine. Lightly fry drained and dried artichokes and arrange in a baking dish. Chop onions and grind the meat and fry in the margarine . Add pine nuts, salt, pepper and cinnamon. Fill each artichoke with this mixture. Add some water and Bake in a 350ºF oven for 1 1/2 hours .
