Beans: Roasted Chinese Style Green Beans

3/4 pound green beans, ends trimmed
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350ºF. In shallow casserole, toss beans with soy sauce and oil until well coated, then dot with butter. Roast beans about 5 minutes. Remove pan from oven and stir beans well. Continue roasting until beans are just tender but still a bit crunchy, 3-10 minutes, depending on size of beans. Serves 4.
