1 package Betty Crocker Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
3 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening Recipe
1. Heat oven to 350¼F. Line rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches, with aluminum foil, leaving 1-inch of foil at opposite sides; grease foil on bottom only.
2. Stir brownie mix, chocolate syrup, coconut, nuts, water, oil and eggs in medium bowl about 50 strokes or until well blended. (Mixture may be lumpy.) Spread in pan.
3. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool.
4. Beat powdered sugar, vanilla and 1 tablespoon of the milk in medium bowl with electric mixer on low speed until well mixed. Beat in remaining milk until spreading consistency; spread over brownies. Refrigerate about 15 minutes or until topping is firm.
5. Melt chocolate chips and shortening over low heat, stirring constantly. Drizzle over topping; spread evenly. Refrigerate about 10 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Lift out foil and brownies. For squares, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows. Refrigerate any remaining squares.
