    1/2 cup light margarine
    4 oz light cream cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    2 1/4 cup flour (save 2 tablespoons)

    Recipe



    Cream margarine with cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the egg and mix well. Sift together the flour and baking powder, and mix into the sugar mixture. Roll dough out on clean surface sprinkled with the last 2 tbl. of flour. Cut into desired shapes with cutters. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Makes 36. 1 pt. per cookie.


    buny's note: original recipe directions simply listed "bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes" with no other info on instructions.. I assumed the rest from most other cookie recipes.
