List of Ingredients
1 tablespoon nugget cereal (I use Grape Nuts)
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 packet sweetener
cinnamon to taste
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray
1/2 Cup nonfat Vanilla Ice CreamRecipe
1. Put the nugget cereal in the bottom of a microwavable bowl.
2. Place your prepared apple on top.
3. Sprinkle with sweetener, cinnamon, and spray with butter spray.
4. Heat in the microwave on high, until apple is tender (approx. 2.5 minutes).
5. Top with nonfat Vanilla Ice Cream.
POINTS: This would be between 3 and 3.5 points per serving. The 1 tablespoon nugget cereal technically comes to 0 on the points finder (I count 1/2 point). The apple is 1 point. And the ice cream, depending on the brand, will be around 2 points. I use Dreyer's fat free Frozen Yogurt, which is 2 points for 1/2 cup (90 cal., 0 fat, 0 fiber), and provides 30% calcium per serving.
PER SERVING: 1 fruit, and 30% calcium (if using frozen yogurt).
