List of Ingredients
1 lb. ground round
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cooking Spray
1 (8 oz.) package presliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons dry sherry or dry white wine (I omit but plan on picking up sherry soon)
1 (12 oz.) jar fat-free beef gravy
Thyme sprigs (optional)
Recipe
1. Combine the first 4 ingredients; stir well. Shape mixture into 4 (1/2-inch thick) patties.
2. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot. Add patties; cook 4 minutes on each side or until done. Remove patties from skillet and set aside.
3. Increase heat to medium-high. Add mushrooms, onion and thyme to skillet; sautŽ 1 minute. Stir in gravy; return patties to skillet. Cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Garnish with thyme sprigs, if desired.
