Beef: 7 pt. Crockpot BBQ Short Ribs

2 tbs. cooking oil
3 lbs. beef short ribs
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbs. Molasses
2 tbs. white vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 tbs. soy sauce
1/2 cup chopped onionRecipe
Heat cooking oil in frying pan. Add ribs. Brown on all sides. Drain. Place ribs in 5 qt. slow cooker. Mix next 6 ingredients well in bowl. Stir in onion. Pour over short ribs. Cook on LOW for 8-10 hrs. or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hrs. Serves 6.
