    List of Ingredients




    4 chicken breast halves with bone, skinless
    1/8 tsp. dry mustard
    1/8 tsp. ground mace
    1/8 tsp. ground cumin
    1/8 tsp. sage
    3 cloves garlic, peeled
    1 green bell pepper, seeded, quartered
    1 onion, peeled, cut into wedges
    1/2 cup dry red wine
    2 Tbs. sherry vinegar
    1 cup canned whole tomatoes, coarsely chopped

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350¡F. Place chicken in a lightly oiled baking dish. Combine next 4 ingredients and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Rub spice mixture on chicken. Arrange garlic, bell pepper and onion around chicken. Add last 3 ingredients. Bake 50 minutes, uncovered, or until chicken breasts are cooked throughout.

    Serves 4.
