    Cooking Light Family Favorites Cookbook (posted originally to recipecircus by mom2two31064)

    List of Ingredients




    1 (9 oz) package refrigerated fresh cheese tortellini, uncooked
    cooking spray
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz) can no salt added tomato sauce
    1/4 c. sliced ripe olives
    1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder

    Recipe



    Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat; drain well. Place in a serving bowl and keep warm. Coat a medium nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Place over medium high heat until hot. Add green pepper and onion; sauté until tender. Stir in tomato sauce and remaining 3 ingredients. Cook over medium low heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Add tomato mixture to pasta; toss gently. Serve immediately.

    Yield: 6 servings (1/2 c. each)
