Original Poster's Note: "I revised this from a W.W. recipe book and changed the meat to turkey and then figured out all the points. I thought you might like to see the new version - it's great over pasta!"
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey breast
Cooking spray
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
8 oz can, no salt added, tomato sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tsp low-salt Worcestire sauce
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp yellow mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp dark brown sugarRecipe
Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Place over medium high heat until hot. Add turkey breast, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until turkey is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain in a colander and set aside. Wipe drippings from skillet with a paper towel. Return turkey to skillet, add tomato sauce and the rest of the ingredients. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until slightly thick.
