    1 pt. Cabbage Tossed Salad

    List of Ingredients




    5 c. chopped iceburg lettuce
    2 c. chopped cabbage
    2 c. chopped red cabbage
    2 celery ribs, chopped
    3 green onions with tops, sliced
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    4 1/2 t. sugar
    3/4 t. salt, optional
    1/4 t. pepper
    1/4 t. garlic powder

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, toss the first 5 ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients together. Pour over salad and chill for 30 minutes.

    Makes 12 servings.

    1 serving ( prepared with Spenda or other sugar substitute and without salt ) equals 54 calories,14 mg sodium, 0 cholesterol,3 gm carbohydrante, 1 gm protien, 5 gm fat, 1 gm fiber. Diabetic exchange: 1 fat, 1/2 vegetable
