2 1/2 cups water, divided
olive oil Pam
2 cups diced onion
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
6 ounces Butterball Fat Free Sausage, diced Recipe
Place 1 cup beans and 1/2 cup water in a food processor or blender, and process until smooth. Spray olive oil pam in a large Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onion, and sautŽ 4 minutes or until onion is soft. Add bean purŽe, remaining beans, 2 cups water, chili powder, and next 4 ingredients (chili powder through garlic); bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in sausage; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 1/2 cups)
