    Soup: 3.5 pt. Clam & Cheese Chowder

    1 1/4 c water
    1 tsp instant chicken boullion granules
    1 cup shredded carrots
    1 cup frozen peas
    1/4 cup sliced green onions
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1 cup skim milk
    2 T cornstarch
    2 - 6 1/2 oz cans minced clams
    4 slices - Kraft 2% cheese slices

    Recipe



    In a 2 qt saucepan combine water, bouillon granules, carrots, peas, green onions, and pepper. Heat to boiling. Stir together milk and corstarch; stir into vegetable mixture. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in undrained clams and the cheese till cheese is melted.

    serves 4 - 3.5 pts per serving
