    Vicki's Notes: One point per serving. The entire recipe has only 2 points! This recipe was my attempt to duplicate the green beans served at Kenny Rogers Roasters. I think I came pretty close!

    List of Ingredients




    2 teaspoons olive oil
    2 cloves garlic -- minced
    1/2 onion -- sliced
    14 1/2 ounces tomatoes, canned
    1 cup water
    1 pound green beans -- fresh, trimmed
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    salt and pepper -- to taste

    Recipe



    Place the two teaspoons of olive oil in a medium non-stick frying pan and sautŽ the onions
    and garlic until tender. Be careful not to burn the garlic. When onions are tender, add the can
    of tomatoes along with their juices, the one cup of water, the green beans, and the basil.
    Cover and simmer until the green beans are tender, about 10 minutes.

    Serves 4.
