3/4 cup chopped onion
5 1/2 cups frozen cut green beans
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 3/4 cups (one 14 1/2 oz can) stewed tomatoes -- undrained
1/3 cup Heinz Light or Healthy Choice ketchup
2 tablespoons Hormel bacon bits
1/4 teaspoon black pepper Recipe
In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, sautŽ onion until tender, about 5 minutes. Add green beans, water and garlic. Mix well to combine. Lower heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until beans are tender. Add undrained tomatoes, ketchup, bacon bits, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Continue cooking 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 6 (1 cup). Serving size (1 cup)
