    Beef & Mushroom Pasta Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    1 �pound lean ground beef �
    14.5-oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained
    12-oz. can tomato paste (low salt)
    1/2 �pound mushrooms, sliced
    1 �cup water
    1 �tablespoon crushed dried basil
    1 � clove garlic, peeled and chopped
    1 �teaspoon Italian seasoning
    1 �teaspoon crushed dried oregano

    Recipe



    Brown beef in a large skillet; drain. Add whole tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, water, basil and garlic. Stir in Italian seasoning and oregano. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.

    Would be good over cooked spaghetti squash, rice noodles, rice, baked potato

    (original recipe called for serving over cooked spaghetti noodles)
