Beef & Mushroom Pasta Sauce

1 Êpound lean ground beef Ê
14.5-oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained
12-oz. can tomato paste (low salt)
1/2 Êpound mushrooms, sliced
1 Êcup water
1 Êtablespoon crushed dried basil
1 Ê clove garlic, peeled and chopped
1 Êteaspoon Italian seasoning
1 Êteaspoon crushed dried oreganoRecipe
Brown beef in a large skillet; drain. Add whole tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, water, basil and garlic. Stir in Italian seasoning and oregano. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.
Would be good over cooked spaghetti squash, rice noodles, rice, baked potato
