    Oatmeal Bars

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup rolled oats (uncooked)
    powdered egg whites equivalent to 4 egg whites
    1/2 tsp cinnamon or to taste
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1 dash ground allspice
    1 cup unsweetened applesauce
    sweetener equal to 3 tbsp or to taste
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 tsp almond or maple extract

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients; mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix until moistened. Spoon into an 8" non-stick square baking pan. Smooth top. Bake 30 minutes. Cool on a rack.

    From member firelizard: This works without the egg whites also. I added them in so I would have one portable bar.

    Half the pan yields 2 oz protein A, 1 cup carb B and 1/2 fruit B
