1 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar (off plan ingredient)
1 1/2 teaspoons rubbed sage
1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1 teaspoon pepper
(original recipe calls for 1/2 teaspoon salt )Recipe
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Strain mixture through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids.

Notes: Serve with pork, poultry, or lamb. It's so flavorful that a mere tablespoon will do. Serving size: 1 tablespoon.
