Recipe Introduction
From member elynnd: I'm Italian and I used to eat a lot of pasta. This program has taught me that I don't have to sacrifice taste while being on program. Since it is made from free foods, I can use this with just about any sort of protein like chicken, beef or pork. I'll bet you can use this with fish too, but I haven't tried that yet. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
List of Ingredients
8-10 cherry tomatoes or one regular-sized tomato (about a 1/4 cup)
2-3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup red wineRecipe
First, brown chcken, beef or pork over medium-high heat. I sometimes use a quick spray of Olive Oil Pam, but you could do it with a quality non-stick pan too. Then add all the ingredients to the Tall Cup and pulse 2-3 times, until you have a slightly chunky texture. Now, turn the heat down to low on the frying pan and pour the simmer sauce over the meat and place a lid on the frying pan. Next, turn the meat over every few minutes making sure to keep as much sauce in contact with the meat as possible. And simmer the meat until done, about 7-12 minutes depending on the cut. Serve immediately.
