Fried Apples

6 tart apples - sliced
¼ c. apple juice
¼ c. brown sugar (made from Splenda)
1/8 tsp. Salt (optional)
Ground cinnamon, to taste
Ground nutmeg, to tasteRecipe
In a large skillet, place apples evenly over bottom. Pour apple juice and “brown sugar” and salt over them. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes until apples are tender. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve warm.
