List of Ingredients
2 Cup of oatmeal flour
6 Tbsp of apple sauce
1/2 Cup of sour cream ((**SUB 1/2C of Rice milk,3/4 tsp lemon juice, 1/3 C apple sauce**))
1 tsp cinnamon
4 Tbsp of Splenda
2 tsp of Baking powder
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp of cream of tartar
2 tsp of Ginger
Recipe
Pre-heat oven to 375 Degrees, Lightly spray Pam** on a baking sheet or use Parsment paper. Take Rice milk, Lemon juice and 1/3C of applesauce and place into a bowl and let it set aside. Sift oatmeal flour into a bowl with sugar,cinnamon, cream of tartar, ginger and baking powder. Add the apple sauce and work with your fingers until all mixed well. Combine the Eggs, rice milk mixtrue and vanilla into the bowl. Add to flour mixture and stir until mositened. Spoon mixture into 8 scones onto baking sheet and place into oven for 20 min or until top is brown and a toothpick comes clean. Remove scones to a rack and let cool for a few mins. You can cut in half and make a ((sandwich)) with this or put you homemade jam or perserves on top.
This makes 8 Scones and its 1 for each serving!
