    Garlic Pork Roast

    3 1/2 pounds boneless pork sirloin
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil (or cooking spray or broth)
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 medium onion sliced
    3 cloves garlic peeled
    1 cup fat-free chicken broth or water

    Recipe

    Trim excess fat from pork. Heat oil in 10 inch skillet over medium high heat. Cook pork in oil (or use cooking spray or broth) about 10 minutes turning occasionally, until brown on all sides. Sprinkle with pepper. Place onion and garlic in 3 to 6 quart slow cooker. Place pork on onion and garlic. Pour broth over pork. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8-10 hours or until pork is tender.
