    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

"A sage and spice rub begins building the flavor of these spectacular pork chops. Balsamic vinegar and chicken broth seasoned with thyme deglaze the pan and are cooked to reduce or concentrate the flavor of the sauce. "

    List of Ingredients

    2 teaspoons McCormick® Rubbed Sage
    3/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Coarse Ground Black Pepper
6 center-cut pork chops, 3/4-inch thick and trimmed
    1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
    1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
    1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
    1 teaspoon McCormick® Thyme Leaves
1 cup fresh mushrooms (such as ****ake, Crimini, or Baby Bellas), sliced

    Recipe

    1. Blend sage, ginger, and pepper. Rub seasoning blend evenly on both sides of pork chops.
    2. Heat large nonstick skillet Sprayed with pam**over medium-high heat. Add chops and heat 5-6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Remove chops from skillet; keep warm.
    3. Add broth, vinegar, garlic powder and thyme to hot skillet, scraping browned bits from bottom of skillet. Stir in mushrooms. Lower heat to medium and reduce mixture by half, cooking about 15 minutes. Serve mushrooms and sauce over pork chops.
