Small Red Potatoes
Sodium/fat free chicken broth
Garlic (crushed of sliced)
Fresh ground PEPPERCORN
Fresh sage leaves
Fresh rosemary stems
Spike, Mrs Dash etc
Recipe
Wash and scrub potatoes. Place them in an 8” square corning ware casserole dish with lid. Pour the chicken broth in the dish, garlic, grind plenty of black pepper and shake your favorite salt-free spice all over. Place the fresh cut rosemary stems in the dish and cut the sage leaves all over the potatoes. Cook in the oven for one hour with the lid on. The aroma of the herbs is heavenly, and the potato will melt in your mouth.
Store the dish in the refrigerator and eat the potatoes throughout the week for your carb serving as specified in your plan.
I have been known to mix this in with red peppers and chicken and make it all in one pan-- saves time.
The spices are yours to add as you like.
