Here's how you do it...
First you make the Smokey Barbeque Sauce:
1/4 to 1/2 small onion, grated
3 cloves garlic
20 oz can (NSA) [no sodium added] tomato paste
14 oz can (NSA) chicken broth
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
4-5 capfuls Liquid Smoke
Brown SugarTwin (or Sweeten Low Brown) to taste
ground black pepper
Drizzle a little chicken broth into a medium saucepan and grate onion into the pan... allow to sweat. After onions cook a little, add minced garlic and sauté. Add tomato paste and enough chicken broth to thin out tomato paste to desired consistency. Add vinegar, liquid smoke, brown sugar substitute, and brown pepper.
After the Bar-B-Q sauce is made... you have you husband take about three pounds of chicken breasts outside and grill them for the week. Yummy!
I let them cool and separate them into 2 ounce baggies. Next you take the veggies... You can pick whatever veggies you like that are OP and that are good stir fried.
I made a sweet and sour mixture that is pretty good....
1-1.5 cups (NSA) beef broth
2Tbs.soy sauce (I use the substitute found in the forum)
3Tbs vinegar
3Tbs splenda
Arrowroot powder (enough to thicken)
heat in a sauce pan.... DONE!
I sauté the veggies (start with longer cooking veggies first... like carrots and add others as they cook) and use a little Sweet n' Sour sauce to flavor... Good Stuff! Put Veggies over Sticky Rice... DONE!
