1 roasting chicken, 6-7 lbs
1tsp. paprika
1tsp.salt
1Tbs. hot pepper sauce, such as tabasco
1Tbs. vinegar, preferably apple cider
1/2 tsp.garlic pweder
1/4tsp-1/2tsp cayenne pepperRecipe
Preheat oven to 350F. Place chicken on rack in roasting pan, sprinkle with paprika. Roast until meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of thigh away from bone registers 180F 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.
Meanwhile, in small bowl combine hot pepper sauce, vinegar, garlic powder and cayenne:brush over chicken several times druing last 20min of cooking time. Let chicken stand 10 min before carving.
