    "Chicken Stirfry with a Touch of Turmeric"

    List of Ingredients




    1/4 cup no salt added chicken broth
    1 medium onion, cut into 1/2" slices
    1 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1 pound chicken breast, boneless, skinless cut in strips
    1/2 cup water chestnuts
    2 cups broccoli flroets
    2 cups cauliflower florets
    1 teaspoon ground turmeric
    1 teaspoon ground cumin

    Recipe



    In a large nonstick skillet, heat broth over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft, about 3-5 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until soft, about another 1 minute. Add chicken and cook an additional 5 minutes. Finally, add water chestnuts, broccoli, cauliflower and spices. Cook until tender, another 6 minutes. Ready to serve. Note: you can use turkey instead of chicken.
