Chicken: Crockpot Chicken

You will need:
1 onion
1 pounds of fresh chicken tenders - about 8(or use 2 or 3 boneless skinless chicken breast cut into 2 oz size)
The dressing from the recipe. (Fat free italian)Recipe
Peel the onion, slice in half. Cut each half into 1/4 inch thick slices.
Put half of the sliced onion onto the bottom of the crock pot.
Next, add the raw chicken on top of the onions.
Next, add about 1/2 cup or 1 cup of the italian dressing.
Next, add the other half of the onion.
Cook on high for 2 hours, then on low for 1 hour in your crock pot. If you want veggies, throw in a tater or two. Viola!
Fat Free Italian Dressing
· 1 tbs. lemon juice
· 1/4 cup cider or white vinegar
· 1 tsp oregano
· 1 tsp dry mustard
· 1 tsp onion powder
· 1 tsp basil
· 1/2 tsp thyme
· 1/2 tsp rosemary
· 1 clove garlic, minced (can substitute garlic powder)
· 1 cup of water
Combine all ingredients. Chill for 1-2 hours before serving to allow herbs to blend.
Note - I got this recipe from the forum, but made some adjustments to eliminate the apple juice and replace with water so all body types can use it.
