Chicken: Easy Greek Chicken

No matter how you end up cooking it (in a pan in the oven, on the grill, in a pan on stove) first marinate your chicken in lemon juice, RED wine, lots of fresh minced garlic, oregano, and maybe a little black pepper. (I don't measure--I just throw it on & sprinkle dried oregano over the chicken until it looks nice.)
For you Greek food fans out there, it'll remind you of souvlaki if you cook it on a grill, or cut it up and cook it on a skewer! Using RED not white wine is the secret. And grilling or broiling makes the oregano stick to the chicken for a nice taste.
For the Lebanese version, just omit the red wine and use lots of lemon juice & garlic. Oregano is optional.
