Chicken: Stewed Chicken (crockpot)

4 1/2 lb roasting chicken cut up
4 celery stalk cut up
1 sm onion sliced
2 sprg parsley
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp dried thyme crushed
1/4 tsp pepper
4 cup cold water Recipe
Place chicken in crockpot. Add vegetables, herbs and water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-5 Remove chicken from crock pot, strain broth into a container and discard the veggies. Use broth and chicken in casseroles or other dished. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze airtight 3 weeks.
