Recipe Introduction
"I'm not sure how original this recipe really is, or if it even counts as a recipe, but it's something my family did when I was a kid. We modified it a bit for me when we last went camping since I was trying to stick on plan"
List of Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey breast
Chopped veggies of choice (I used peppers, carrots & onions)
3 medium to large potatoes sliced in wedges
Cayenne pepper to tasteRecipe
Divide raw turkey into 6 portions and mash each portion flat on a fairly large piece of tin foil. place a small handfull of veggies and 1/6th of the potato in the center of the meat. Season to taste with cayenne pepper. Wrap the meat around the veggies and potato. wrap the whole thing in tin foil. Cook for 15 minutes over hot coals, turn over and cook another 15 minutes on the other side.
Type A carb, Type B Protein, veggies are free.
Because turkey cooks down so much, this should work out to 6 2 ounce servings of protein.
