    Turkey: Cincinnati Chili

    1 quart Water
    2 lbs of lean ground turkey
    1 tsp. Cinnamon
    1 tsp. Cumin seed or ground cumin
    2 large chopped onions
    1 toe Garlic
    2 tbsp. Chili Powder
    1 tsp black pepper
    ½ tsp red pepper or chili pepper
    1 1/2tsp ground allspice
    1 6-oz can of sodium-free tomato paste
    1 ½ tbsp Cider Vinegar
    3 large whole bay leaves

    Recipe



    Crumble raw ground turkey into water (don’t brown first). Add all ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer for 3 hours. Remove garlic toe and bay leaves. Add whole red peppers (if desired) for spicier taste.

    Now.. I like this served plain or on top of a baked potato. For those of you who use rice products, it’s pretty good over rice spaghetti.

    For those of you who know this style of chili.. no - you can’t have cheese on it!!
