    Turkey: Fruit Glazed Turkey Breast

    1 4-6lb turkey breast
    1/2 a lemon
    1/4 cup dry white wine
    Ms. Dash seasoning. (your choice)

    Glaze:
    1/3 cup apricot or peach allfruit spread [off plan ingredient]
    1 tbsp lemon juice, dry white wine or sherry
    1 garlic clove
    1/2 tsp ginger, minced (optional)
    1 teaspoon chives

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Clean and rinse turkey breast in cold water. Pat dry. Rub half a lemon over turkey, sprinkle with Ms. Dash. Place turkey skin side up . Insert a meat thermometer into center of turkey breast and add wine. Baste occasionally. Roast for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until meat thermometers registers 170 degrees F or juices run clear. Do not overcook. Allow about 22 minutes per pound.

    Combine apricot or peach spread, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and chives. Brush over turkey during last half hour of cooking. Let rest 15 minutes before serving. Cut crosswise and serve with skimmed turkey juices.
