    Turkey: Ground Turkey and Rice

    Recipe Introduction

    From member Melissa : I am an A and eat 1 cup of the mixture for my portion, which leaves plenty for packaging up for future meals. This is wonderfully simple and my family loves it too.

    List of Ingredients

    * 1 lb ground turkey (or other ground meat)
    * 2-3 green onions, chopped
    * 2-3 celery stalks, chopped
    * 1 bell pepper, chopped
    * 1 cup raw rice
    * 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
    * 1 tbsp low sodium Worcestershire Sauce
    * pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Brown ground meat in a skillet with a lid, pour off any grease. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
