    Turkey: Spicy Turkey Sausage Recipe

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound freshly ground raw turkey breast
    1/4 cup finely diced green bell pepper
    1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
    1 1/2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
    1/4 teaspoon dried sage
    pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Blend all ingredients together using a food processor, blender or by hand until well mixed. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Form turkey mixture into small round patties or meatballs or crumble into a large nonstick skillet. Cook until turkey is no longer pink Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Turkey mixture can also be browned like ground meat or formed into meatballs and added to pasta sauce.

    Makes 6 Servings
    Serving Size: 3 ounces
