    Turkey: Turkey Mushroom Burgers

    List of Ingredients

    * 1 lb ground turkey breast

    * 1 cup mushroom onion paste (1 small onion and mushrooms ground in a food processer to the consistency of a loose paste)

    * 1 cup cooked rice, measured first and then ground in a food processer (this is to thicken the mix so that patties can be formed)

    * 2 tbsp egg whites (results in firmer patties when cooked)

    * 2 tbsp worchestershire sauce (low sodium)

    Recipe

    Mix all ingredients well, and form into 12 equal patties. Thinner patties cook more evenly. Fry (without fat) or grill (George Foreman grill works well - I haven't tried on a barbecue grill, but I suspect they would fall through).
