    Grains: Barley Pilaf

    List of Ingredients

    * 1-1/2 cups pearl barley
    * 4 cups vegetable or chicken stock
    * 1 cup chopped onion
    * 1 cup sliced or shredded carrot
    * 1 cup chopped celery
    * your favorite seasonings such as garlic powder, oregano, rosemary, basil

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients in a pot. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 40-60 minutes.
