    Rice: Rice Cake Stuffing

    List of Ingredients

    1 package no salt rice cakes
    2 cups chicken/veg broth
    5 egg whites
    sage to taste
    pepper to taste
    garlic to taste
    mrs dash to taste
    onion
    parsley
    celery
    2 home made turkey sausage patties if you like

    Recipe

    crumble the rice cakes into a bowl, toss in the egg whites and half the broth. Toss in all the spices and vegies to your hearts delight. Get your hands in there and SMOOSH it! Since there is no butter or oil you will need to make the mix rather wet, so keep adding the broth till you get a still holding together sort of goop. You don't want slime or soup though. Plop it in a baking dish and into the oven it goes. Bake it on 325-350 for about 45 minutes. The top and edges will turn brown and start pulling away from the dish when it is done. Or you can do like you do a cake... stick a toothpick/knife into the center, if it comes out clean it is done. Remember to watch your portion! Since it does contain eggs you will need to back off a tad on your protine for the meal.
