    List of Ingredients




    1/4 teaspoon salt (may wish to reduce or omit)
    1 cup converted long grain white rice
    6 cups water

    Recipe



    1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add the salt and rice and bring back to a boil partially covered. Remove the cover and maintain the boil for 10 minutes.

    2. Pour the rice and water through a strainer. Add fresh water into the saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Set the strainer of rice on top of the saucepan and cover. Reduce the heat to medium and steam for 10 minutes. Turn the heat to the lowest possible setting until ready to serve.
