    Rice: Everyday Herb Rice

    List of Ingredients

    1 tbl Dried onion flakes
    1/2 tbl Dried celery flakes
    2 tbl Dried parsley
    1/2 tsp Dried garlic flakes
    1 tbl Dried green pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp Ground tumeric
    1 tbl Chicken flavored granules, or bouillion (or use Herb-Ox chicken bouillion granules)
    1 tsp Sugar (or use splenda)
    (original recipe calls for 1/4 tsp Salt)
    1 pch Ground cloves
    1/2 cup Wild OR brown rice
    2 1/2 cup Water
    1 cup Scallion, chopped green with some white

    Recipe

    In a small bowl, combine the first 10 ingredients. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice, water, and the herb mixture. Bring to a boil, partially cover, lower the heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is cooked. Fluff with a fork. Fold in the scallions and serve at once.
