Recipe Introduction
"** ThickenThin not/Starch is thickener made from guar gum, zanthan gum, acacia gum, and carob gum. Probably not on plan, but you can read about it at http://www.expertfoods.com/ThickenThin/notStarch.php "
List of Ingredients
1/2 Cup Unseasoned Rice Vinegar
1/4 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Paprika (sweet not hot)
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper (freshly ground)
1/2 teaspoon Ground Oregano
1 tablespoon Splenda (to taste) (1 to 3)
1 1/2 t ThickenThin not/Starch™ thickener
Note: 3 tablespoons of Splenda will result in a sweet St. Louis Italian-style salad dressing. Recipe
Mix the water and thickener together and mash the thickener with the back of a spoon until dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and pour into a serving bottle. Shake. This can be stored at room temperature. If you use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder, store it in the refrigerator.
