    Dressing: Boiled Vinegar Dressing

    1/4 cup vinegar
    3/4 tablespoon splenda
    1/4 tablespoon oat flour
    1/8 tablespoon mustard
    1/4 teaspoon
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1 egg white
    1/4 tablespoon butter buds (substitute)

    Recipe

    Heat the vinegar. Sift the dry ingredients thoroughly, add to the slightly beaten egg white, and beat together well. Pour the boiling vinegar gradually upon the mixture, stirring constantly. Put in the upper part of the double boiler and cook over hot water until it thickens, stirring all the time. Add the butterbuds and remove from the fire. Serve when cold, This kind of dressing may also be bought on the market. When made at home, the beaten whites of eggs , are often added before serving.
