    List of Ingredients




    3 tablespoons white wine- or cider- vinegar
    1 teaspoon sugar (or splenda)
    1 teaspoon low salt soy sauce
    1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
    1/4 teaspoon five spice seasoning
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
    1 medium cucumber, diced
    1 cup shredded bok choy or cabbage
    1/2 cup shredded carrots
    1/2 sweet red bell pepper, finely diced
    6 ounces sliced water chestnuts, rinsed, drained
    cut in half
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
    dark sesame oil in a spray bottle

    Recipe



    In a large bowl, combine the vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, five spice seasoning and garlic. Add the sesame seeds (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using). Whisk to combine. Add the cucumbers, bok choy or cabbage, carrots, red peppers, water chestnuts, and cilantro. Spray lightly with the oil; toss to combine.
