    List of Ingredients




    3/4 pound asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch lengths
    1/2 pound mixed seafood (choose from firm white fish fillets, scallops, and shrimp)
    1/4 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
    1 egg white
    1/4 teaspoon white pepper
    2 teaspoons minced ginger
    2 green onion, finely chopped
    3/4 cup salt-free chicken broth
    1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 teaspoons water ** (or Arrowroot)

    Recipe



    1. Bring a large pan of water to a boil. Add asparagus. Cook until tender-crisp, about 2 minutes. Drain.

    2. If using fish or large scallops or shrimp, cut into 1/2-inch cubes. Cut chicken into 1/2-inch cubes. Coat seafood and chicken with egg white and white pepper.

    3. Place a wok over high heat until hot. Add small amount of chicken stock, swirling to coat sides. Add ginger and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 10 seconds. Add seafood, chicken, and green onion; stir-fry for 1 minute.

    4. Add remaining broth, bring to a boil. Add cornstarch solution and cook, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens. Add asparagus and toss to mix.
